ARTIST NOVO (@novoing) is hosting his solo exhibit MORE HOPE RUN at Avenuel Art Hall.

I learned about NOVO just in time to make it to the opening reception of his latest exhibition MORE HOPE RUN. I made my way from the (literal) starting line throughout the whole exhibition floor several times over. From installation pieces, video, canvas paintings, to a live painting by NOVO himself later in the day, the exhibition had a wide range of media with something new to look at with each round I made through the space. The live painting started with him writing the date, almost like a journal entry even including how the weather was that day, followed by what ended up being a short quote. From the beginning up until he finished off with his signature, I was at the edge of my seat, despite standing the whole time, enjoying the process of his painting and waiting to see how it would end.

The MORE HOPE RUN exhibition runs from Apr 03 (Wed) to Apr 28 (Sun) at the Avenuel Art Hall, Jamsil Lotte Department Store, 6F. Open from 10:30am to 7pm.
