ANTIMATTER Spring/Summer 2018 collection review.

Words Lauren Sloan, Media Seoul Fashion Week

Déjà vu flooded the runway at male streetwear brand, ANTIMATTER’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Mellow tunes began the show, but epic edge and throwback influences stole the audience’s hearts. The models sported buzz cuts, tattoos, and bleached heads along the runway, bringing in a refreshing amount of edge to the collection. Hoodies, joggers, and t-shirts were the focus of the season, making the models appear effortlessly comfy cool.

Neon colors, checkered prints, and graphic designs brought us back to the 80’s, and combined with contemporary streetwear fashion, the pieces were an optimal representation of what Saved By The Bell’s Lisa Turtle would be wearing today.

While calling themselves a male streetwear brand, ANTIMATTER has continually used female models since their first runway debut, showing the brand’s gender fluidity and unisex appeal. We saw model YU CHAERIM wearing an ANTIMATTER jumpsuit, so we'll wear an ANTIMATTER jumpsuit...
