Running from June 27th to July 7th, the BUCHEON INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL will feature 288 films from 49 countries, and we’re giving away 7 pairs of tickets for you to attend!

The BUCHEON INTERNATIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL is one of three international film festivals held in South Korea every year. Its official themes of the festival are ‘Love, Fantasy and Adventure’ and the festival is known to heavily features fantasy films. For its 23rd year the Bucheon Film Festival will have a special focus on science fiction cinema.

Running from June 27th to July 7th, the Bucheon Film Festival will host a full programme of panel discussions with actors and directors alongside many of the screenings. The panels cover topics that include Women in Comedy and Queer Cinema. There is also a special 100 Year of Korean Cinema Programme which highlights some important films in Korean film history across all genres. Unless specified all the films and panel events will have English subtitles and interpretation!

A 1973 French film that alters the dialogue of a classic Kung-fu movie to reflect the conflict between the classes of society.

Memento Mori

A screening to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this Korean school girl horror. / Set in an all girls school, MIN-AH finds a diary belonging to a recently deceased student and soon it seems as if she is being haunted by her fellow student.

We Are Little Zombies

Four teenagers meet in grim circumstances. Their parents are dead. They should be sad, but they can't cry. So they form a kick-ass band.

Bucheon in Gyeonggi-do is less than an hour from Seoul and 40 minutes from Incheon so it's a great opportunity to see some international and domestic cutting-edge cinema and well worth the trip.
