MINJUKIM Fall/Winter 2019 collection review.

This season MINJU KIM met a huge success with a thrilling comeback at Seoul Fashion Week F/W 2019. Inspired by the Swedish movie "Let the Right One In", she proved her talent driving us into an extremely beautiful atmosphere, albeit lonely, through a pale palette and quite unique prints.

Indeed, the story here told is about a vampire girl, represented via buffalo and knife prints, trying to protect a little boy, here symbolized by rabbit illustrations; an outstanding story characterized by dramatic and beautiful moments. The sweetness of their unique relationship is easily perceptible through the cocooning and pale color looks, contrasted with the dark and violent atmosphere well shown with long latex socks, rings, leather dresses and chokers. Surely, MINJU KIM’s show was incredibly memorable.

MINJU KIM set the ball rolling early into the week and she did it well. This womenswear show got our hearts beating faster and our attention was deepened with every look that came down the runway.
